Green Island & Kuranda

Green Island is an idyllic coral cay on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. Snorkel from the beach and join a coral viewing tour, over beautiful coral gardens teaming with a wide variety of colourful fish, turtles and other marine creatures. Explore this tropical paradise further with a walk around this tiny coral cay or simply relax and take it all in.

Departs: 9.00am (Check-in from 8.15am)

Returns: Approx. 5.30pm
*Return transfers are available from Cairns accommodations. 

Kuranda and outer reef tours do not operate Christmas Day (25 December). Due to the maintenance programmes of Skyrail Rainforest Cableway and Kuranda Scenic Railway, the following dates are closed out. Alternative itineraries will be offered.

  • Skyrail Rainforest Cableway:  24, 25 & 26 MARCH 2017. 8 MAY - 4 JUNE 2017 INCLUSIVE.
  • Kuranda Scenic Rail:  20 & 21 APRIL 2017. 8, 9, 15 & 16 JUNE 2017. 12 & 13 OCTOBER 2017. 13, 14, 20 & 21 NOVEMBER 2017. 4 & 5 DECEMBER 2017.
