Pro Dive Magnetic Island have access to some of the healthiest most pristine areas of the Great Barrier Reef including Lodestone, Keeper and John Brewer Reef.  We are able to select the best reef for the days weather conditions and visiting different sites each trip with small numbers means the reefs remain in beautiful condition!

Advice for Diving and Snorkeling

 

Snorkeling and Scuba Diving can be strenuous activities. If you are concerned about your fitness, swimming ability or have a medical conditions please inform our friendly crew.

 

Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving or will require a Doctor’s certificate (organised prior to your trip). You’ll be required to complete a medical statement and sign a Legal Waiver Release & Indemnity Deed prior to boarding the vessel.

You will not be able to fly or ascend over 300m for 24 hours after your final dive.

Day 1 : Great Barrier Reef Trip
6:45am - Check-in 7:30am - Depart Magnetic Island 9:00am - Arrive at Great Barrier Reef - Dive Site One 10:30am - Morning Tea 11:00am - Dive Site Two 12:30pm - Depart Reef 2:00pm - Arrive Magnetic Island Timings are approximate.
Meals :None

We offer a complimentary pick up service on the morning of our trips from Magnetic Island Accommodation and the ferry terminal.

Check-in: 6:45am @ Pro Dive Store

Boat Departs: 7:30am

Boat Returns: 2:00pm (approx. return time)

 

 

Extras:

  • Gear Hire - $30
  • Daily EMC*, fuel levy, port and administrative fee - $15.00per person (subject to change without notice)

*EMC (Environmental Management Charge) is a compulsary fee paid by operators to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority for the management of the Marine Park including education, research, ranger patrols and policy development. The funds received from the EMC are vitally important in the day-to-day management of the Marine Park and in improving its long-term resilience.
