Pro Dive Magnetic Island: Great Barrier Reef Introductory Dive
Pro Dive Magnetic Island have access to some of the healthiest most pristine areas of the Great Barrier Reef including Lodestone, Keeper and Wheeler Reef. We are able to select the best reef for the days weather conditions and visiting different sites each trip with small numbers means the reefs remain in beautiful condition!
The Introductory dive is for beginners and requires no previous experience. It’s a great way to experience the Great Barrier Reef and try out scuba diving if you don’t have time to complete the learn to dive course. One of our friendly and experienced Instructors will take you step by step through the whole exciting experience.

- Introductory Dive
- Experienced Dive Instructor
- Quality dive and snorkel equipment
- Morning tea served during surface interval (with hot beveridges and soup in the winter)

Advice for Diving and Snorkeling
Snorkeling and Scuba Diving can be strenuous activities. If you are concerned about your fitness, swimming ability or have a medical conditions please inform our friendly crew.
Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving or will require a Doctor’s certificate (organised prior to your trip). You’ll be required to complete a medical statement and sign a Legal Waiver Release & Indemnity Deed prior to boarding the vessel.
The minimum age for scuba diving is 12 years old.
You will not be able to fly or ascend over 300m for 24 hours after your final dive.

- EMC, Levy, Port & Administration Charge - $15.00 per person*
*EMC (Environmental Management Charge) is a compulsary fee paid by operators to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority for the management of the Marine Park including education, research, ranger patrols and policy development. The funds received from the EMC are vitally important in the day-to-day management of the Marine Park and in improving its long-term resilience.
